About My Art
The artwork has chiefly been the result of a hobbiest artist after I've captured many of my friends and families pets on canvas. After taking time to study their pet's approach to life and the people around them, I pay particular attention to the animal's behaviour, colouring and unique aspects of their personality. I prefer to take several photographs myself, in their own surroundings (playing in the park, standing in the stable, gripping on a perch, or even snuggling in their own home), but am quite happy to accept a favourite photograph you have. From these aspects, I can paint your pet as you see them.

I am now offering my pet portrait skills to you, so I can capture your pet to perfection! After studying my sister's crafty, independent cat, Diesel, I got to work on capturing the best image of his cheeky playful ways of getting us involved with his antics. This was painted with pastels on canvas paper. Diesel's image was frozen for an adorable moment in time, forever to be cherished with affection.

I loved capturing Peter the Parrot. The feathers were tricky, but turned out beautifully after many layers were created. Would you like your pet to be painted with custom personalised art? I like working with acrylics on canvas board, but I can take commissions for oil paints on canvas, watercolours or pastels on art paper - and even plates! I can arrange to frame them if you wish. From the original paintings I complete, prints and cards will be sold separately.
