About Me
At the age of five, my passion grew for all things art when I created a 'finger painting' on tissue paper. Dad was so chuffed, he framed it. Because of his admiration of my creative ability, my enthusiasm was boundless. In my teens, I completed countless horse and rider, and dog and cat paintings and also (oddly), architectural drawings of luxury homes (with cinemas and wine cellars). In my latter years, I have focused on a portfolio of adorable pets, natural wildlife, and also land, sky and seascapes. My soul overflows with satisfaction when my interpretation of God's beautiful world is appreciated. And, of course, I delight in the infectious enthusiasm of dogs like Larry the Lab (here), painted with acrylics on canvas board.

This is an example of a piece completed with pastel pencils on canvas paper. After studying my sister's crafty, independent cat, Diesel, I got to work on capturing this image of his cheeky playful attitude. His image has been frozen for an adorable moment in time, forever to be cherished with affection.

I'll study your pet's approach to life, their behaviour, aspects of their attitude and personality, and colouring.
I take several photographs while either playing in the park, standing in the stable, gripping on a perch, or even snuggling in your home. If you prefer, I am quite happy to accept a favourite photograph or video you may have of them.
From the original paintings, prints and cards will be sold separately.
Fees
Pet Portraits are from £650. Private commissions are from £2,000.
Fee depends on size, mediums used, framing, urgency, and delivery costs.
